Hey all,
Maybe seems like an odd question to ask but the reason I ask is because I am learning JavaScript which I find fairly hard to pick up and I am going to start learning PHP soon and so I wondered if I am going to find it easier or harder than JavaScript? |

personally i hate javascript.
php and asp are the core of the web language, and its much easier to learn as well.

I hate javascript too and avoid doing it at all if possible. I have found PHP pretty easy to learn and so have a large number of people I have introduced to the language.

I suggest you learn PHP first and then Javascript later on.
Javascript is very useful if you want your website or webapps to be interactive. I agree that Javascript is difficult to learn in the start but my applications are far better with javascript in it. AJAX requires you to know javascript basics. |

According to me, JavaScript is much harder than PHP. JavaScript is an Object Oriented Scripting Language that allows you to generate dynamic HTML pages.
